When someone makes a new account it asks for a Referrer. If they put your username as the referrer you get gold anytime they buy gold or starter packs. You get an extra 10% of the gold bought by anyone you refer.
You can do this easily by sending them to this link: http://thefarwilds.com/flash/thinflexclient.swf?ref=<your username> then your name will automatically be filled in to the referrer field when they make an account.
